Shipping Policy - FAQs



► We accept all major credit cards which include: Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

► You can also utilize your PayPal account to complete your order as it's available as a payment option.

► We do not offer Express Shipping online. All orders will be shipped by a ground carrier of our choice.

► However if your order is time sensitive and needs Express shipping, we can try to accomodate and work with you to provide a quote.

► Please keep in mind during Holiday season to give your order extra time to process. We can't guarantee delivery when it gets too close to Christmas (Must be more than 2 weeks prior to Christmas Day).

► Hitch City offers affordable shipping options to make your online experience memorable.

► Hitch City will ship for free (GROUND SHIPPING ONLY) to Ontario on all orders valued over $200, before taxes. Any items valued less than $200 will be subject to $20 plus taxes, shipping charge.

► Free ground shipping applies only in Ontario. Rates are subject to change for remote locations. In this case we will contact you prior to processing your order with the exact shipping amount.

► Oversized or heavy items do not qualify for free ground shipping. An additional charge of $100 plus taxes per item will apply to these oversized / overweight items.

► During normal circumstances, all orders will be shipped out as submitted from our website during hours of operation typically the same or next business day as long as the item is in stock.

► If your order was placed on Saturday or Sunday it will get processed on Monday.

► In-stock items cannot be verified until order has been processed.

► Your order will be shipped by a domestic ground carrier such as FedEx, Purolator or Canada Post. Hitch City reserves the option to choose the best carrier possible at the time your order will be shipped.

► Once your order is processed and payment is received, you should receive your order within 3 business days (standard ground shipments in Ontario take 2-3 business days), as long as there's are no complications. If there are any known delays we will communicate this to you as soon as possible.

► You can't have your order shipped to multiple addresses. Each order can ship to only one address. If you're purchasing multiple items that require to be shipped to multiple addresses, please place a separate order for each item.

► Any incorrect shipping details such as the address, contact number or postal code.

► Please understand that any unforeseen circumstances could delay your order. In an event this happens you will be notified immediately.

1) Yes you can pick up your order at any of our Hitch City Locations be selecting the “Free Local Pick Up” Shipping option.
2) Please be sure to specify the location you wish to pick up from prior (this is Step #6 in the Order Review / Checkout Process)
3) In the event that your order needs to be transferred, please allow 2-3 days.
4) We’ll confirm your order by emailing you when it’s ready for pick up.
5) A copy of your receipt as well as a Government issued Photo I.D will be required for pick up.

► Shipping companies may accidentally lose, damage or misplace your order in transit. In the event that this happens, Hitch City will analyze the circumstances and as long as it's deemed unreasonable, a replacement order will be sent.

► If you receive the original order it's your responsibility to have it sent back to us. If we don't receive the original order back, when we sent a replacement order to you, Hitch City reserves the right to charge for the replacement order including any shipping costs.

► Sorry, for the time being, we do not ship outside of Ontario.

► Sorry we do not ship outside of Canada. We only ship orders within Ontario.

► Product will have to be inspected by the customer once received, to ensure there are no damages at the time of delivery.

► All return fees will be the responsibility of the customer to ship back to Hitch City, which will incur 15% restocking charges.

► Most items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days as long as it abids the following requirements:

1) Item(s) isn't damaged or is deemed by Hitch City defective.
2) Item(s) wasn't a special order
3) All item(s) must be in original manufacturer packaging including any accessories
4) No returns on electrical products
5) Original purchase receipt is required
6) Contact details

► Any non-stock or special orders are subject to be shipped out based on manufacturer availability. Customer service will contact you with shipping time and if you would like to proceed with the order.

► Packages that are returned to us by the carrier and marked as "Unclaimed", "Return to Sender", "Attempted Unknown", "Refused", or "Invalid Street Address", you will be contacted to verify any descrepencies in the order details. If Hitch City is unable to communicate with the purchaser, the order will be credited back to the customer's credit card on file, less the shipping and handling fees and a 15% restocking fee.
