Commercial Upfitting Options for Your Work Truck in Toronto

Whether you have a fleet of trucks moving between construction sites or a single van for your home plumbing business, having the right accessories can make transporting your equipment easy. There are a lot of upfitting options available, and we at Hitch City know that your truck needs to be your mobile headquarters. We can help you find the right truck accessories for your work.

What are your storage options?

When it comes to storage accessories for your truck, there are many options. If you simply need storage for tools, for instance, we carry the following options from both Weather Guard and UWS:

  • • Saddle boxes between eight and fifteen cubic feet. Specific models have different features but you can be sure that they’re made for any situation and will keep your equipment safe and well organized for when you need it.
  • • Side-mounted boxes between five and eleven cubic feet. Normally installed on top of the truck bed across the bed caps near the truck cab window. These are positioned on top of the side of the truck bed based on the size.
  • • Truck bed tool chests of all kinds that are weather proof and vandal proof so you don’t have to worry. These are installed and sit inside the truck bed.
  • • Ladder racks of various makes and models to fit your truck or trucks.
  • • Hitch mounted storage for extra cargo space.
  • • Liquid storage tanks for transporting liquid.

If you need to carry large loads of loose material, we also carry dump boxes made by TruckCraft. These can be outfitted to haul dirt or for de-icing spreaders, amongst other things.

What about safety options?

Storage isn’t the only issue you should be considering when looking for truck accessories. If you or your employees work outside or near roads, you should also consider what you can do to keep your workers safe. We carry a variety of specialized safety warning accessories from SWS:

  • • LED, strobe, and rotating beacons will ensure that your workers can be seen at night or in low-visibility conditions.
  • • LED, strobe and rotating minibars are also available to make slow-moving vehicles visible at great distances or for making sure any work done on the highway is done safely.
  • • Traffic directors and arrows will help direct the flow of traffic away from your workers, keeping them safe to do their jobs.
  • • Other specialized floodlights and alarms to signal where work is being done.

Whatever your specific needs are, we at Hitch City will have a truck accessory option that is right for you.
