Running boards

A running board has a flat rectangular shape and typically runs the length of the vehicle’s cabin. A running board provides a stepping surface along its entire length, making them more versatile than step bars, especially when loading items onto the roof.

The bars have flat step areas equipped with traction pads and can handle as much as 227 kilograms. Step bars protrude a bit further out than running boards, which makes them easier to use but more vulnerable to damage.
